For the past 4+ years, I've been working on animated feature films and TV shows doing visual development, location design, layout, and background painting. During this time, I've been able to work for some incredible clients, such as Netflix, Disney, Fox, Universal, and Nick jr. I was born in S. Miguel, a small island that's just a 2-hour low-cost flight away from the mainland of Portugal, and have since moved around a. lot. At the end of 2020, when we were all still hopeful and terrified about the O' great pandemic, I finished my amazing job at Lighthouse Studios, where I was working as a Layout Artist for The Cuphead Show, and started taking online courses full-time (shout out to CGMA!). Then, in the summer of 2021, I began to work as a freelancer full-time. It's been quite a ride so far and got to work on some amazing projects like a Portuguese short film, my first TV ad, and a Disney feature.
