Biography

Currently engaged in development of neurogames (neuromodgames.com), along with my duties as an Assitant Professor of Interactive Media (noroff.no). I am a digital artist and a game design scholar with a passion for virtual experiences and classical aesthetics. I have over a decade of practice producing indy content for online games with real economies, such as Entropia Universe and Second Life. I have also worked in Virtual Reality projects for cognitive rehabilitation and biopsychological research. I studied a Bachelor’s in Animation and Digital Arts (Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico) and a Master’s in Game Development and Research (Technische Hochschule Köln, Germany). I enjoy intercultural dialogue and exchange, fluently speaking Spanish, French, Italian and German, in addition to English and a handful of coding languages. I also love singing opera in my free time (baritone).
