I love writing stories and designing characters. My main genre focus is comedy and I hope my art can make people's day a little brighter. I aspire to work as a storyboarder or character designer in the future. I would also love to find myself in a writer's room someday. My hometown is located in an economically depressed rural area in central Pennsylvania where high school art classes were essentially study halls. To pursue my goal of a career in animation, I had to be self-taught and self-motivated. In eighth grade, I began selling my original pins and prints at a local comic con to raise money so I could attend summer art programs at SCAD. I started SCAD as a sophomore thanks to dual enrollment courses with them my senior year of high school. My short-term goal is to find an internship, mentorship focusing on concept development, character design, animation production, animation development, storyboarding, dramatic writing, script development or any opportunity that will allow me to gain insight and experience into the creative processes associated with animated storytelling.
