Finding out cartoons weren't real by the age of 5 is what made me want to be an animator.

Biography

Dajo got his start in art at the age of 3, when he drew along with Steve from "Blues Clues" in his handy dandy notepad. He got into animation after finding out cartoons weren't real by the age of 5. Crying in the corner after receiving the tragic news, Dajo realized that he could create cartoons just like the ones he watched and loved. And so his path to animation was set. Like many, Dajo's first animations were on the corners of his school notebooks, created out of boredom. He started making short videos and animations around 2005, using only a webcam, MS Paint, and Windows Movie Maker. Animation ranged from simple movements, stop motion, and lip-singing songs. Through 2013-2017, Dajo attended and graduated from the University of the Arts, Philadelphia. He earned himself an expensive piece of paper: a Bachelors in Fine Arts and Animation. His senior thesis is the animated short, "Dreading Water". Dajo currently works as a freelance animator. His most recent work experience was remote work for Bento Box Entertainment, based in Atlanta Georgia. Worked as an animator, laying, keying, and cleaning assigned animated scenes on a weekly basis for two shows.
