Biography
For the last 4 years, I have been helping conceptualize immersive storytelling spaces through projection mapping at Graphics eMotion.
Through these projections, we would bring building façades to life and create new environments in exhibitions, all whilst staying true to the narrative.
As a 2D generalist in a small company, I have had the opportunity to be part of many stages of a project's development such as conceptual art, compositing, montage, on-site installations, and most recently art direction.
I have come to realize that what I have found the most fulfilling in this creative pipeline was the visual development process - creating key visuals, designing different environments and visual arcs.
Upon realizing this, I am now looking for opportunities in visual development, environment design/background painting in the animation and games industry.
I believe that I have skills that are translatable to these industries, and this shift will challenge me to further develop my skills as a visual storyteller. This is in essence what I strive for, to keep perfecting my skills and being a part of that visual storytelling process.
