Biography
Hi there! I'm Daniel Mallada, a Senior Concept Artist at Blizzard Entertainment. I've been working as a concept artist for the past twelve years with companies like People Can Fly, Mercury Steam, and Nintendo, where I contributed to the development of Metroid Dread. I specialize in environment design, but I also enjoy designing characters. Recently, I released a collection of miniatures for 3D printing, for which I created the universe, characters, scenography, and even wrote a 5e adventure to accompany them.
I love writing stories and am a passionate Dungeon Master and player of Dungeons and Dragons. I've also worked in that field, illustrating art pieces and covers for Atlas Games' Planegea 5e book.
Creating pieces with good visual narrative, world-building, and storytelling is very important to me.
In addition to my work, I enjoy music, retro games, and everything related to science, technology development, and biology.
