Biography
Born in Arizona, I spent most of my adolescence on the Navajo Reservation and on a ranch in Double Adobe near the US/Mexico boarder. A son of a rancher, I grew up working with livestock and plants fostering a resolute work ethic. In between chores I found joy filling up sketchbooks with drawings of people and animals- something I still do today. I joined every sport I could in high school and still enjoy staying active. I went to college on a track & cross-country scholarship and after graduating with my BFA in art and education I taught high school art in Colorado for 7 years while continuing to freelance. I moved to Seattle to study as an Atelier student of Juliette Aristides for a year and am now in Los Angeles. I continue to freelance and am pursuing a career in the entertainment industry as an artist. People describe me as a warm, easy-going person, quick study, and good communicator. I have worked diligently to home my artistic skill set and continue to do so. I love working with other creatives and the idea that my work could contribute to a living, breathing, visual story is beyond thrilling!
