A self-taught, Award winning, multifaceted illustrator, with an insatiable love for all things robotic, DaCosta has been creating professionally since 1995. Working under the studio name 'CHOCOLATE SOOP®, DaCosta has produced designs across various media and collaborated with artists around the world, including work for major brands like Nintendo, Sony, Nick jr., Atomic Cartoons, Spin Master, Hasbro, Nimble Collective, Wacom and Google.His passion and philosophy are grounded in the belief that visual art must be soul satisfyingly bold, whether it be a toy design, illustration or an animated project. Notables: 2017 DaCosta released his first 3D animated short film Sunny & Gerd in Spring Cleaning. Which he wrote and Directed. The film received numerous wins at film festivals around the world. DaCosta is also the founder of the poplar 'MARCH of ROBOTS' drawing challenge on Instagram, held during the month of March.
