Cycil is a trained pharmacist turned cartoonist/animator best known for his Ananse(folkloric) themed kids animated series and theatrical shows. Aside directing Ghana’s first animated feature, ANANSE MUST DIE, Cycil has worked on MIGHTY JOO, an environmental themed cartoon series, host of music videos and commercials as well as comic books and novel publications. His talent and directorial prowess took him beyond the shores of Ghana and subsequently, his services was called upon by a Namibia-based agency to produce character mascots and to direct a kids TV animated content, Waka-waka moo moo. Poised on taking on the world by storm from his humble studio in Accra, Cycil is on track to cause a yet another stir on March 2021 with a remake of his debut 2009 feature, '28th the crossroads', working in collaboration with Animation Africa studios.
