Hi! My name is Corné. I'm from a small countryside town in South Africa.

I am a spontaneous and optimistic person with a love for learning, sketching and all things fantasy. I specialise in drawing characters, usually with a medieval/ fantasy theme.

I am currently a graduated student at Academy of Digital Arts in Cape Town, working a part-time job. I study in my free time, trying to improve my skills and do portfolio projects. I am so excited to start my career as a concept artist. The entertainment industry is so influential to how people view and experience the world. I want to be part of making sure it's a positive experience, leading to a prospective future for our world and environment.

I've got an intensive year of experience in using Photoshop and Blender. Currently using Clip Studio Paint as a fun Photoshop alternative. I've been doing art for 9 years now, with about 5 years digital art experience.

I aspire to work in the Game and Animation Industry. I love the immersive and escapist nature of games. The game industry in South Africa is in its early stages and I want to play a part in its growth and success.
