Hi! My name is Cole Finley and I'm a Visual Development artist and Illustrator (who is looking for work!) who likes to play with shape in color in my art. Out of all the different parts of the animation production pipeline, I find visual development to be the most rewarding. It allows me to completely submerge myself into the story. From delving in to the characters mind to help design their wardrobe and find their personality, to designing detailed locations that then seemingly turn into characters themselves; its all so entertaining to work on. In my spare time I enjoy testing out different art mediums to see if there's anything else I find fun! Some of my favorites have been; cut-paper art, watercolor painting, and puppet making. And in my SPARE spare time I enjoy spending with my family and friends as well as any dog within petting range. The animation and movie making process has been a huge passion and inspiration for most of my life, and I hope to continue and inspire that in others with a career in the industry.
