Biography
After studying architecture, I decided to turn to the animation and visual effects industry. I joined LISAA animation & video games in Paris for 4 years. During my 2 years of master degree I was able to share my time between school and an internship at MPC Paris, working as a material painter / concept artist. During my master's I worked on a short film "Bulle" for which I was very involved artistically. I was able to build the whole art direction, from all the concept arts to the final image. It ended up being quite a personal project where I was able to experiment a lot graphically. It really defines what I want to push professionally. From the other part at MPC I worked on project as "The Last Duel", "Around the world in 80 Days", "Totems". I did matte painting as 2D photobashing / paint to 3D envrionment. Many times I was able to work from concept art, designing the shot to final matte painting. It was a great experience to grow up my skills artistically and technically. I graduated last June, since I continued to work at MPC as I was on an internship. Between school and work, I always thought about developing my own projects. Sketching and drawing in my sketchbooks every day is an important part of that. I really like experimenting, different aesthetics, different tools, developing workflows for special visuals so personal project are necessary. Link to image I'm really interested in writing and storytelling, that's why I aim to make my own graphic novel.
