After graduating Fine Arts with honours in summer 2020, more or less at the same time covid hit, I found myself burnt out and lacking a positive future prospect. I started digging without direction into random art-related disciplines I was interested in, but I realized that at the time my set of skills was insufficient to pursue a professional career in any of them. So, I took some time to reflect and dwell on those aspects I came across during my education years and work experience in the illustration field, that I found the most exciting. That's when I decided to enrol in a visual development course, to learn more about animation and design, because it looked like a coherent continuation of the path I was already walking on, and most of all because it merges together all different areas I m passionate about (2d drawing, design, colour, fashion, architecture etc) and makes it available for a purpose bigger than me. So, I am fairly new to this, and I still have to figure out where on the massive Vis Dev umbrella to fall in, although I'm very much drawn toward Character, Environment and Color design. As of my literal biography, I was born in a small town in northern Italy, daughter of Albanian immigrants, I graduated art high school in 2016, then Fine Arts (BA in illustration and comics) in 2020, and now I m enrolled in a Vis Dev course at Idea Academy in Rome. During high school and university, I had the chance to work as a freelance illustrator for communication agencies and explored the indie scene of self-published comics. I also always worked in the foodservice industry and I can make perfect cappuccinos with just the right amount of cream.
