Charley was born and raised in Maplewood, Minnesota to a family of dog worshippers. He started training in improv comedy as early as middle school, eventually joining his Roseville Area High School improv team. After graduating high school, he traveled for three years, training at SAK Comedy in Florida and The Improv Conspiracy in Melbourne, Australia. In 2015, he moved to Chicago to pursue comedy professionally. Charley has studied at the best comedy schools in the world, including Second City, iO Chicago, The Annoyance Theatre, Comedy Sportz Chicago, and occasionally the Chicago redline. He has written and produced for director and actor Antoine McKay (Empire, South Side, Review, Patriot), as well as creating corporate comedy shows for brands like Nando’s restaurant. He has been the creator and head writer for 3 web series totaling 37 episodes. As well as, contributing writing, producing, and creative consulting on countless other projects. He now is the co-owner of 2hitmen Productions LLC and a creative consultant on various media projects, including working with John Evershed (Mondo Media, Trioscope Studios) on the Adult Animation Database. He is an expert in creative team work, collaboration, and leadership, and believes in a people first model to the creative process. Also, he picked up some bartending along the way.
