Biography
Céu Isatto, born in Porto Alegre (Brazil) in 1998, is a non-binary trans artist (2D, comic, illustration, contemporary) and multidisciplinary cyborg who, through their work, seeks to study and express visual narratives on issues such as identity, alterity, gender, untranslability, (non)belonging and affection.
Their current production tends to always circumvent boundaries between media and explore into its visuals the transcription, translation and noise between digital and analog media.
In 2019 they participated in the des.grafia with the collective Aflito and in 2020 their zine "Pó de Estrela" was a finalist for the "Dente de Ouro" award.
They currently administer the course "Cyborg Art" where they teaches about visual narratives based on tension, noise and the erasing of boundaries between digital and analog.
