Carmen Moreno von Thode
Biography
Since I was very little I liked to imagine fantasy worlds that I could switch on in my mind to make life more interesting. When I discovered that I could show those worlds to others through art, I fell in love with drawing. I have oriented my career towards projects that help people look at the world in a different way through stories. My main experience is in the animation industry, but I'm very interested in exploring any kind of project that has narrative at its core, which includes videogames, book illustration, etc.

Work Experience
2021 – 2021
Background Designer
A productions (Remote)
Designed backgrounds through line work and later painting to match the perspective of the different scenes and following the style of key backgrounds. The project was a special for Elmo's puppy.
2020 – 2020
Background and prop designer
Fly High Stories (Remote)
I designed the necessary backgrounds and some of the props to match the style developed for the characters. The project was a pilot episode based off a theatre play.

Assistant art director
JAM Media (Belfast)
Assisted the Art director by assigning and supervising the production of the Art department for 2 productions, as well as ensuring that the work complied with the pipeline and producing pieces myself.
