Hello! my name is Bryant Bandayrel born and raised on the wonderful island of Maui, Hawai’i with a B.A. in Creative Media Animation from the University of Hawaiʻi at Manoa in May 2021. I’ve been a fan of all types of animations ever since I was little and as I grew older I’ve been inspired by the character and background designs that have been exposed to me. I enjoy creating the visual designs of characters or backgrounds because I love the sense of personality or story designs that can be brought out with just the look of it alone. I have a dream to become a known artist for my works, I want to make a name for myself and inspire a new generation of artists, it’s a huge mountain to climb, but I am still climbing regardless of the little progress I make. During my time at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa, I learned Animation and challenged the limit of my skills to surpass and be a stronger artist. I have met a lot of great people and through them they helped, socialized, created long-lasting friendships, and inspired me to become what I can do today. Hopefully, I have done the same to them and I do not want to disappoint them. Additionally, I worked on projects of my own, my first animated short film was “Late Night Imagination” (Jan-May 2020) and the second was “Sorrow” (Jan-May 2021). I also worked on my fellow classmate's short films “Su Lechucita”, “Kites” and “Rock Gods” while in school.
