Dreamed of being an animator but realised I was happiest telling story. Learnt about story and the basics of the pipeline at Radhowtoclass, now called Project City. At the moment I’m a senior biomedical engineer at my local Hospital looking to transition to the animation industry. I have a love for animation both Western and Eastern, which I find influencing my style. But have learnt to adapt and change styles in the classes I’ve taken. My aim is to be a story or storyboard artist I like the idea of king or short form storytelling. I know my limited experience is as a student and an entry level job such as a revisionist or junior storyboard artist is where I should be aiming at so I am continually working on my drawing and storyboards for my portfolio. Although I hope living in the UK I’ll be able to work remotely when possible as we’ve seen it during the COVID pandemic crisis. The choice is only due to family having their own lives outside of my career choice. I’m honestly worried that this may be seen as too unreasonable..
