I have been 'one of the creative ones' for all 20 years of my life. Inside and outside of school, I was pursuing art - drawing instead of doing whatever else it was I was procrastinating. I had always dreamt of entering a creative industry in the future, but decided to follow my parents' advice and make a compromise. In the meantime, I started selling my art as comissions and on merchandise / clothing. I started to sell much more than I ever expected, and I realised then that art wasn't my hobby; it was my passion. So, I re-enrolled into a Media arts degree focusing on film and animation production, and here I am.

I'm still learning about the project pipeline, with very short exposure to storyboarding, character design and composition. I prioritise consistency in my art and (other than practicing) spend my free time rock climbing, skateboarding and studying Mandarin. I'm half Chinese half Australian, and I love incorporating both cultures into my life - although I'm definitely far from fluent yet. But if I've learnt anything from art, it's only a matter of time.
