Barkha lohia is an Artist and Illustrator who was born and raised in India and is now based in Toronto, Canada.

Her work is an amalgamation of everything experienced around her, be it the bustling railway stations, boisterous characters in streets or the quiet solitude experienced in midst of nature. She enjoys working with watercolors, acrylics, charcoals, in short anything that will ruin that perfectly nice shirt. 

When she is not creating, she enjoys being outside, collecting, loitering, sketching.

She earned a BFA from the College of Art, India in 2015 and worked as a graphic designer/illustrator before going full-time freelance in 2017, with a brief stint as a tattoo artist where she mostly worked on nature-inspired designs and themes. She has since worked with publishers, design studios, ngo's, magazines on picture books, editorials, commissions and various Illustration projects.
