Biography
My name is Audree and I am an Orange County-based freelance artist and art student. Although my background does have experience and education in very different fields, and although I am so thankful for every opportunity I’ve been granted in life, my passion has always been in illustrating, designing, and in animation (even if I wasn't always in a place to pursue this dream). In 2019, I was given the opportunity to revisit this passion when I got hired at Blizzard Entertainment.
Working on the Cinematic’s team at Blizzard gave me a feel for what an animation studio is really like and I instantly fell in love. I got to meet and learn from so many talented artists, many who came from animation studios from all over. They helped me realize that my dream of being a visual development artist could still be possible. Because of this job, I could no longer put off pursuing a career in animation.
I’ve spent the last two years working harder then I ever have, as a full-time student at OCC, while working part-time, being the VP of OCC's Art and Animation Club, and also taking classes at Brainstorm Academy and Schoolism. I’ve had the pleasure of designing characters, props, and logos for individuals and influencers. I even illustrated a children’s book, which really helped me grow into a more professional artist.
I joined THU because I feel ready to begin pursuing the next steps on my journey, seeking out professional and targeted career and portfolio advice so I can refine and polish my work and become a visual development artist that stands out, Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little!
