My name is Paul Gkantinas, I am originally from Greece but for the last 9 years I have lived in Melbourne, Australia. Ever since I moved to this country I worked in some different fields as a plumber, heating / cooling engineer, as well as an owner of a Building Services & Maintenance Business. However, my heart belongs to the creative industry, I have always wanted to be part of a creative team in a studio. That is why I keep studying and practicing my skills on a daily basis: to become better, even more confident and ready for the work of my dreams. My love for 3D modelling and concept art is the culmination of a lifelong passion beginning with traditional watercolour and oil paintings as a child. Expanding into the exciting world of digital has opened new ways of expression for me as shown in my showcase of work. I am passionate about creating big scale science fiction environments , props, imaginary worlds and characters, using 2D and 3D techniques both individually and combined. I hold an Advanced Diploma of 3D Modelling .
