A Journey through Animation, Broadcasting, and Teaching: A Multifaceted Career

Introduction: This biographical summary traces my professional journey of encompassing a decade of creative excellence at Walt Disney Feature Animation France, followed by an enriching academic pursuit as a Broadcasting Master's student at Sorbonne University, and ultimately, a passionate career as a teacher at a prestigious university in Madrid, U-Tad.

Part 1: Walt Disney Feature Animation France (1994-2004)  I embarked on an extraordinary artistic adventure at Walt Disney Feature Animation France. As a member of a talented team of animators, I contributed to the creation of beloved animated films that captivated audiences worldwide. Working alongside renowned directors ( Kevin Lima, Kirk Wise, Chris Bailey) , animators ( Glen Keane, Andreas Deja, Tom Sito, Nick Ranieri, Kathy Zielinski ) and artists, I played a  role in shaping the visual narratives that enchanted generations : A Goofy Movie , Runaway Brain, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Atlantis, Fantasia 2000, The emperor's new groove, Destino, Lorenzo. All these productions were nominated or awarded with prestigious awards such as Oscar, Golden Globes, Emmy, or Annie Awards.In parallel, I cou-founded with various former Disney artist Neomis animation studio in 2004, which closed its doors in 201 ( Asterix and the vikings, The illusionist, Curious George) 

Part 2: Broadcasting Master's at Sorbonne University (2004-2005) Seeking to broaden horizons beyond animation, I pursued a Master's degree in European Broadcasting at Sorbonne University ( Paris) . This educational endeavor offered a comprehensive exploration of the dynamic world of media and communication. Engaging in coursework that delved into media theory, production techniques, and emerging trends, I honed skills essential for a successful career in broadcasting.I had the opportunity to apply my knowledge in the Millimages studio in the Marketing department, where I became a junior editor, adapting the studio's television series into children's book collections, as well as a magazine. ( 64, Zoo street, Lucy, Caroline and her friends) 

Part 3: Transition to Teaching (2010 - Present) Following the completion of my Broadcasting Master's degree, a newfound passion for education emerged. Recognizing the transformative power of knowledge, I embarked on a teaching career at U-Tad ( Madrid) Drawing from extensive industry experience, I infused their lectures with practical insights, nurturing the next generation of talented professionals in the fields of animation, broadcasting, and media.I have the honor of having created the Story Artist Master that will begin next October, and I also teach the following subjects: Storyboard, Projects II, III and IV ( Spanish and English) The last two years of the degree I am part of the supervision team of the final degree shorts. Our students' shorts have been rewarded at various festivals, which makes us feel proud, considering that we are a very young university

Part 4: Contributions and Achievements. Throughout my  professional journey, numerous accomplishments stand as testaments to my dedication and talent.These achievements include different Masterclasses in animation ( U-Tad, Ecole Brassart), being a member of the jury at animation festivals in Madrid (Animario, CineMad+), being cited as a reference in various specialized books :  Anima.es ; 100 years of spanish animation ( Samuel Viñolo, José Antonio Rodriguez, 2019) , Yabba-dabba-Dooh, Hanna-Barbera in Spain ( Adrian Encinas, 2023).

Conclusion: The trajectory of my career showcases the multidimensional nature of my talents. From a decade at Walt Disney Feature Animation France, crafting timeless stories through animation, to acquiring a Broadcasting Master's degree at Sorbonne University, and finally, nurturing young minds as a respected teacher in Madrid, I have continuously embraced opportunities for growth and impact.As a woman, I have fought many battles and I try to make my students understand the importance of living and working together. That's why I am a member of MIA ( Mujeres en la industria de la animación) , CIMA ( Mujeres cineastas) y MEDIACLUB associations.
