Biography
Andy Ramirez is a young Queer Latinx artist, originally from Venezuela. They moved to the United States as a teenager and went on to study at Stetson University, graduating in spring 2022 with a dual degree in Digital Arts and Business Administration. Their creative works have a focus on 2D and 3D animation, illustration, and graphic design.
Through their art, they seek to increase the representation of minorities in media, make individuals feel seen, and provide a home within the stories, characters, and environments they create. As part of the Bonner Program, Andy has dedicated much of their work towards social justice and serving the community. They remain passionate about issues regarding immigration, LGBTQ rights, and mental health.
