My name is Andrea, and I am a Venezuelan aspiring writer and illustrator. I was born in a little city and spent almost my whole childhood moving around the country, my only companions were my family (Mom and sister) and the books we read on our road trips. I couldn't study arts because I didn't had the money to move to the capital, so I studied education instead, only to know that I wasn't made for it when I started to actually teach at a school. After a year teaching, I started connecting with writing and drawing all again and I knew: that if I wasn't doing one or the other I wouldn't be really happy. So I kept writing, last year I won a scholarship and entered a postgraduate program in narrative and literature, all while freelancing and trying to set up my illustration Career. I'm still struggling, but still creating.
