I'm a freelance illustrator from Portugal, currently living and working in Barcelona. I have a degree in Communication Design from the Escola Universitária das Artes de Coimbra. I specialize in creating story-driven illustrations, with creative compositions and strong, dynamic line work. Since 2008 I’ve been working with publishers, such as Porto Editora, Edições Asa, Polvo, for books, comic books, and graphic novels. I love to learn and I am a curious person! My curiosity got me to do illustrations, short comics, and comic books to help communicate science, in collaboration with organizations such as the Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology, from the University of Coimbra, or the international project Living River.
