I've been drawing since I was 12 years old, and was self-taught until high school where I enrolled in Art Instruction Schools and received a Certificate in Fine Arts. ​ I was introduced to video games at a young age through Azurik: Rise of Perathia for the original Xbox. What enticed me the most was the design of the character, Azurik, and his various powers. My obsession with characters continued to grow with my first handheld system the Nintendo DS Lite, my first game was The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. As the characters developed through out the game, I knew I wanted character design to be my main focus. I spent the next several years doing nothing but designing new characters, all of them with names, background stories, including likes and dislikes. Soon I had a three inch binder filled with loose printer paper of nothing but characters I had created. Now that I have finished my degree in Animation, I am following my dreams of creating and bringing characters to life through animation and video games.
