Reading is an adventure, and I am Indiana Jones. I thrive on finding new and exciting material and fresh voices that are yet to explode on the screen. No script is beyond redemption and I am fearless when it comes to demolishing and re-building the plot. Like Tarzan I carve my way in the jungle, taming unruly scripts and finding the jewels that are worth owning. After hearing the horror stories of Hollywood chewing and spitting writers like used gum, I did the only reasonable thing and moved to Los Angeles. If there's one thing I learned in the army is to fight for what I want (and used gum makes a great adhesive to fix a shoe during an army's "Long Walk"). Currently, I serve as a double agent: A Script Analyst by day and a crime fighter... ooops... a screenwriter by night (love writing individually, but even more so - as part of a team). In my non-existing spare time I master the delicate balance of catering to the needs of a mentally challenged kid on the one hand and a certified genius child on the other, as well as volunteering as the Treasurer on the Board of the San Fernando Valley Writers' Club (a chapter of the California Writers' Club) But when I blow the candles on my birthday cake, after world peace and health for all, what I wish for is to be a full-time Creative Executive; a position that brings together my deep love of reading and searching for amazing material to develop, along with my passion for film, television and collaborating with talented creatives in the entertainment industry.
