Hey there! I'm Amanda; I'm shooting for a career in animation production and my overall goal is to write cartoons for kiddos who are like me: very excitable, and equal parts adventurous and nervous.

Biography

Amanda grew up in Columbia, Missouri, United States, and has wanted to work in animation since she knew what the word "career" meant. Although given she was in Columbia, Missouri, opportunities for animation were slim. Luckily, you can write anywhere. And once she learned she could, she did. And she still does. In high school, Amanda wrote plays that were performed by local high school classes. In the summers, she also worked as a receptionist at local car dealerships. In college, she worked three development internships and two script analysis positions while pursuing a scriptwriting degree from Webster University. Now, she works as a freelance PA and story analyst for several companies and studios nationwide. She's looking for development, story, and administrative entry-level positions. She'll relocate just about anywhere to reach her goals. She loves exploring, after all.
