I use a research based method to create my designs. This allows me to create more depth and storytelling by incorporating my written research notes into the drawn designs. As an Entertainment Design - Concept graduate of ArtCenter College of Design, I love engaging with storytelling regardless of medium. I had the opportunity to work on a fun animated student short called Post-monotonous which involved both environment and costume design. Over the past year I worked as a research assistant to Jessie Kate Bui on an unannounced project creating specialized research packets for her design work. Most recently, I worked as an Associate Designer at California Costumes, learning more about the production side of costume and how to better incorporate those methods into design. When I’m not designing I spend my time gardening, reading, crafting, or exploring nature.
