Alexandra is a Portuguese animator and filmmaker interested in telling simple stories with strong visual personalities. Working mainly in 2D animation, she creates character-driven worlds that combine humour, emotion and playful observation of everyday life.

Her work often revolves around childhood, fears, relationships and the small absurdities of being human. Alongside commissioned and collaborative work, she develops her own animated shorts and series, with a particular interest in creating stories that can connect with both children and adults.

Her films have been screened and selected at international festivals.
