Ghost in the Machine: a vision of how we can define the AI narrative

The world seems to have hit an endless loop in the tech hype-cycle. AR/VR, metaverse, web3, and crypto have all had their 15 minutes of fame, but AI has gained traction where others have failed. But how do we use AI for good and not evil? How can we ensure AI is augmenting the human experience by eliminating toil and repetitive tasks, leaving us humans to create, experiment, and learn? In this talk, we examine how AI can be more useful to the creative workflow, more durable in a production environment, and less harmful to the careers and livelihoods of those it appears poised to replace.
