Wow! What a first week! We are SOOO excited for next week, but, we’re not gonna lie, we’re also exhausted...The mentorships were GREAT. Our brains are kind of processing all the information, because it was A LOT, but we’ll get there eventually (hopefully… XD).

You've connected with someone you admire and can learn from, sent them your work, arranged a chat over coffee, or are part of a mentorship program. Whether it's a structured mentorship or more ad hoc in nature, there are ways to get the most out of any such experience. We sat down with four renowned industry professionals across animation, live-action and sound design, who've been in the mentor seat, to get their advice on how to make the most of a mentorship experience. 

Making a difference means being human: messy, vulnerable, weird and ever changing. So, I want to tell you about my burnout this year.

Career Camp was born in 2020 to support you during the pandemic, helping you access the THU networking magic from your home. Meanwhile, it has grown into one of the biggest online events focused on recruiting and mentoring. It also became one of the most important projects for us: it's our human approach to online networking and a tool that allows us to help creators all around the world, especially the ones who don't have the resources to travel and access these kinds of opportunities.

There’s always more that we could be doing, fueling an endless loop of FOMO. But is modern life’s modus-operandi actually improving productivity? And is trying to do it all really making us happier?
