Reorder your portfolio blocks

Managing content should feel simple and intuitive, especially in your portfolio, where presentation matters.

Based on your feedback, we’ve introduced Reorder Mode to make organizing your content easier.

What’s newYou can now change the order of your blocks directly in the interface.

Enable Reorder mode, drag blocks using the controls on the right, and click Save when you're done.

“Drag blocks to rearrange. Click Save to apply changes”

Designed for clarityA few details make this interaction clear and predictable:

• A dedicated mode makes it easier to focus on the structure of your portfolio, instead of sorting through full content
• Use the controls on the right to drag and rearrange your blocks
• Your changes are only applied when you click Save, giving you full control

This update gives you more control over how your work is presented, so you can highlight what matters most.

Give it a try in your portfolio.

Profile - Work Experience Area Updated

We’ve improved the Work Experience area to give you the tools to provide a richer and more detailed overview of your professional background.

When adding a new work experience, you will now find new fields that help better contextualize your role and responsibilities:

	• Main Role - choose your primary job title from a curated list. If you don’t see your role, you can easily add a custom title. This helps us better match you with relevant opportunities in the future.

	• Experience Level for Role - your level of experience in that role

	• Contract Type - type of contract (e.g., full-time, part-time, freelance)

	• Company Name - name of the company

	• Start Date / End Date - duration of the experience

	• Location - work location

	• Description - a free text area to detail your responsibilities, projects, technologies used, and more

Important: As this is a recent change, there’s a chance that some of your historical work experience data might not perfectly fit the new model. The good news is that your existing data was preserved and remains accessible. Even better, the new fields give you the chance to describe your roles in much more detail. So, we invite you to review and update your profile when you have a moment! 😊😊

Besides enriching your profile, this information helps us recommend relevant opportunities such as job offers, mentorships, or collaborative projects related to your experience.

You can access this update directly within your profile under the Work Experience section.

Portfolio Updates: Business Portfolios & New Search Features

Portfolios continue to evolve for the Tribe, with two new updates that open up more ways to share your work and explore the creativity of our community.

Portfolios are no longer just for Warriors; they’re now available for Business accounts too!

This means Companies and Studios can finally showcase their collective work, highlight key projects, and share what makes their team unique.

Just like individual Warriors, Business accounts can now:

	• Create and manage a Portfolio page

	• Add collections with images, 3D models, and descriptions

	• Share their projects with the Tribe

At the same time, we’ve improved how everyone can explore portfolios across the Tribe.

With the new Portfolio Search, you can now look up Portfolios by title, author or studio name, and country, making it easier to find creators, projects, and studios that inspire you.

Whether you’re discovering new talent, exploring ideas, or looking for potential collaborators, the experience is now smoother and more connected.

We’re continuing to improve the search and new filters are also part of the plan.

Want to Be Discovered?

Keep your Portfolio up-to-date, it’s the best way for others to find you, your work, or your studio inside the Tribe.

Start building or updating yours today and let your projects speak for themselves.

If you’re a business, use it as a tool to promote your projects, attract potential collaborations, and increase visibility for your company or studio.

A New Way to Showcase Your Skills

Since we started the DEV Diary, we’ve been continuously improving the Profile experience. This is already our fourth update in that area and the second focused on Skills. Each release helps make profiles clearer, more flexible, and a better reflection of who you are and what you can do.

Until now, you could add skills across different categories: Languages, Software, Roles and Skills.

In each of these, you could indicate how many years of experience you had.

With this update, we’re introducing a new way to more clearly represent your experience and proficiency.

Why the change?

The number of years gives a sense of time, but it doesn’t always reflect the actual level of proficiency.

Our goal is to make each user’s profile clearer and more comparable, showing what you can do and how you apply your skills —not just how long you’ve been doing it.

The new scale

Each skill category will now have its own proficiency scale:

For Languages: Basic, Conversational, Proficient, Fluent/Native

All the other skills (software, technical, soft skills, etc) Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, Mastery

With this change, profiles will display skills in a clearer, more consistent, and more meaningful way.

Our goal is to make the platform simpler, more transparent, and more useful to everyone creating a profile and to everyone exploring them.

Transition and validation

During the update, we’ll automatically convert your existing experience (in years) into the new proficiency levels.

We know this conversion might not be perfect in every case, so you’ll be able to review and update your levels directly on your profile.

Add 3D Models to Your Portfolio

Your portfolio has always been the place to showcase your best work, but until now it was limited to images and videos. Today we are taking an important step forward: you can now add interactive 3D models.

With this update, you can seamlessly integrate 3D models into your portfolio through Sketchfab, Marmoset, or GLTF/GLB files. Other users will be able to explore your projects in real time, rotating, zooming, and interacting with them without ever leaving the platform.

This feature is especially valuable for 3D artists, architects, product designers, and anyone working with 3D assets. Instead of relying only on static visuals, you can now deliver an immersive experience that lets your work speak for itself.

Adding these new content blocks is quick and simple. In your collection editor, just select your preferred option, Sketchfab, Marmoset, or GLTF, upload your file or paste the link, and save/publish. In seconds, your portfolio gains a whole new dimension.

Try it today, make your portfolio interactive, and share your feedback with us. Your ideas will help shape what comes next.

All Your Bookmarks in One Place

Until now, bookmarks have been a practical way to save relevant content within spaces. However, there was a limitation: you could only access and filter bookmarks inside the space where they were created.

This meant that, many times, finding an article, job offer or a project you had bookmarked required navigating back to the original space and then applying bookmark filters within the corresponding pages (jobs, mentorships, blogs).

From now on, that experience will change.

A new option: Bookmarks, has been added to the personal menu.

Here, you’ll find all your bookmarks in one place, regardless of which space they were created in.

With this update, you can now:

	• Manage all your bookmarks centrally

	• Filter by content type (e.g. article, event, job offer, company, etc.)

	• Search not only by content, but also through the personal notes you added

	• Sort by creation date (newest or oldest)

	• Choose your preferred view (list or grid)

Example in practice

Imagine you bookmarked:

	• an article/post in a Tribe space,

	• a challenge project in a Talent League space,

	• and a job offer you found in a Career Camp space list.

Simply access your Personal area > Bookmarks, and have all those items gathered and filterable in one place!

And if you added a note at the time, for example, "worth reviewing", you can now search directly by that note to quickly find the right bookmark.

What’s next

This is just the beginning. Bookmarks will continue to evolve to help you build your own personal library of resources within the platform.

If you haven’t tried it yet, check out the personal menu and explore all the bookmarks you've saved so far, all in one place.

Share your thoughts and help us make the bookmarks experience even better.

Skills Now Organized by Category

We’ve updated the Skills section of your profile to help you describe your professional background in a more structured and visible way across the platform.

Previously, all skills were listed together. Now, they’re grouped into four categories to better reflect your areas of expertise:

	• Roles - the positions or functions you’ve had

	• Software - tools, platforms, and technologies you work with

	• Languages - spoken languages you know and use professionally (this is the only category with a fixed list)

	• Skills - general or specialized competencies, whether technical, creative, or interpersonal

We provide a predefined list for each of these categories to ensure consistency throughout the platform - making it easier for your profile to be matched with relevant opportunities, projects, mentorships, or community connections.

Can’t find what you're looking for? No problem, for Roles, Software, and Skills, you can add custom entries to fully represent your background.

This is just the beginning, we believe this structure will evolve over time based on your feedback and needs.
