Mark Wolym All my life I've lived in the occult, on my mother's side I've experienced the occult as a paranormal experience, on my father's side because he always concealed my existence, now I want to stop being a ghost. I want to bring light to my existence, open a dialogue about family cycles, trauma and show how creating art through these themes, in addition to being transformative, can be liberating. Since I became a mother 2 years ago, I knew I need to do this, I want to explore my family's history in order to break unhealthy cycles - the biggest ghosts in our lives - that have been circulating for several generations. As a film director and multidisciplinary artist, I want to create a documentary series about my family history, but most importantly I want to share the process through an online platform, that's where the innovative aspect of this project lies, the project is not just a product in the end, it's a journey that you'll be able to take with me while I'm creating it, creating art in different ways and transforming this whole story, however painful it may be at times, into art. I'm a firm believer that it's in the process that the greatest learning experiences and revealing moments take place, as much as the final result can be incredible, and I want to share that. The art that heals, as the genius Jodorowsky says.
