added stronger light, I am not sure if it is actually better than the previous stage though :D

playing around with lighting, I also have a soft spot for texture, might overdo it already :D 

all colours in place, usually from here I would start experimenting with lighting and adding/ removing details

sunset colour palette, colours are always a hit or miss for me

final sketch cleaned up, the composition is not complicated, I guess not something I can wow people with :D large sky and ocean always give me a feeling of freedom. 

Starting with small thumbnails to quickly capture the ideas and possible compositions, old-school pen on paper. I like the idea of someone with a flare or torch (like the Olypic athletes), taking a jump from a cliff, but not falling down and keep running instead. 

I like both the side view and the one where we can see the character back, but decided for the side view where it's more obvious that he is in the air and not falling down to the ocean.
