At this stage all the ideas are in, I added the drones some wildlife interacting with them and made a few compositional changes in the background.

From this point on its all abount rendering the picture to the highest standart i can :)

Btw i went with humming birds for a bit of wildlife represantation since they are really fasy and appear somewhat curious.

I wanted the drone to be a simbol of speed, progress and connectivity as well as a compositional tool in my piece, I felt like if i didnt pay atention the drone could easily sway the whole picture to a more distopian kind of future so i tried to stay way from sharp and overall threatening shapes when designing it.

after some messing around in blender, and witth the help of the drawn concepts I settled on this friendly looking sphere :)

After some color shifts and composition tuning i started laying in some textures and added the city mockup I made earlier in blender.

At this point The piece was still very bare bones and some of the main design elements and focus of the piece were still missing, like the drones the wild life and the kids/ holograms.

I was going for a more eliptical read with most of the elements near the corners of the picture.

So continuing my last post,

I landed on this idea of a landscape painting depicting connections between humans, nature, animals possible trough 5g.

After exploring a bit of composition and colors trough thumbnailing ,i went with a vibrant depiction of a city  in the distance being watched by friends linked through holograms, i also tought about how there could be sort of friendly sattelites, that helped civilization mantain a healthy world by monitoring wild life as well as weather.

i started exploring blender a bit to try and get a base for the city before comitting to the painting.

the design of these drones was still a mistery for me at the time.

This project begun some weeks prior to this first post but im not the best at keeping a posting schedule so now that im almost finishing it I decided to make some posts about the various stages :)

I started sketching some ideas and topics i wanted to tackle on the project.

From this first stages (the ones im showing in this first post) I scrapped almost everything but what stuck with me was the idea of conection.

The idea of a future where people can be more connected with each other and with nature as a means to a brighter future.

I wanted to explore holograms and sattelites in a simbolic way of showing a connected world. On top of that I wanted to tackle the speed aspect of 5g in subtle ways as well, and was searching for those ideas in this preliminary phase.
