Almost at the end. Spend most of the time fixing the background colors and values to something that looks right withing the light conditions.
Change the red guy phone into a holographic book that he polled from a libarbry, in this universe you are able to acsses any book from any library and read it on the moment phiscly. Also added a UI interface for the left guy.

Still have some more fixing that I plane to do later on, but I think Im happy with derition is going right now.
 

Worked mainly on the hologram effect and tried to fit it within the painting. Also added some trees to the city to give a more nature-like city vibe.
Next will work in fitting everything in the background as some stuff doesn't look quite right.

A bit more painting and some experiments of where the characters should be, I think I will go with the left one. The idea is that the guy on the right is talking with a friend via hologram from far away.

Will explore next some vfx for it.

Started to work on the background, adding light and details and making sure that everything work within the same light. Will later start working on the characters 

Did a basic scene, focusing on the perspective, composition and architecture in 3D for a quicker workflow.
For the buildings tried to go with a more organic look, using a lot of curves in their design and taking inspiration in parametric design with organic meshs. 

Sketches of different ideas and color exploration to try to find a direction, the main concept was an advanced world with a lot of organic base inspiration with characters in the foreground exploring the wonders of 5G technology.
