We are a premier Xbox Game Studio, crafting genre-defining games that delight players with their accessibility, visual allure, and pure fun. Our diverse and passionate team is currently working on the exciting reboot of the much-adored Fable franchise.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a lighting artist, you will collaboration with Leads, Directors, and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver outstanding lighting for the open world and cinematics to the next entry into the Fable franchise.
You will set up time of day cycles, light environments, cinematics and control the atmosphere and mood for this expansive open world game.
You will join a world class team of passionate developers and artists who aim to push real-time visuals to new heights.
This role based at our state-of-the-art facilities in Royal Leamington Spa. We have a hybrid work model in place with a minimum of 3 days a week in studio. Relocation assistance is available if required.

Requirements
- Production experience in AAA games, film, or TV.
- A portfolio showcasing high-quality cinematic lighting work.
- Proficiency in composition, colour, and lighting principles.
- Familiarity with real-time lighting constraints and best practices.
- Experience with 3DS Max, Photoshop, After Effects, and other 3rd party software for lighting.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, address challenges proactively, and a drive for continuous learning and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Craft and uphold all aspects of cinematic lighting, including dynamic and animated environments and character lighting.
- Ensure all lighting deliverables align with the production schedule.
- Strike a balance between visual quality and real-time game performance.
- Adhere to and enhance the defined visual style of the game.
- Develop guidelines and techniques for cinematic lighting.
