Job Description
Within a team of 5 people situated in our site near La Doua (Condorcet tramway stop), you’ll be accompanied by our Associate Lead UI Programmer who will take care of your integration and your expertise learning.
The Main tasks of a UI Programmer are the followings:
- Read the game conception documents to understand the desired game experience
- Design and integrate Interfaces and Menus systems suited for users of each platforms ; by preserving the uniformity of visual and logistics aspects
- In collaboration with Conception and Programming teams, quickly propose prototypes and interactive concepts for the game
- Understand the implementations and identify the technical limitations
- Supervise the modules programming that will be at the base of the User Interface
- Optimize modules code in order to implement it on Game Consoles
- Interact and collaborate with other departments (conception, artists, programmers...)
Requirements
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in game programming
- C++ Proficiency
- Appetence for interfaces and game menus
- Passion for video game, creativity, rigour, self-criticism and team-spirit will be essential
- Analyse and adaptability skills
- Being able to work in close relation with Game Designers and UI Artists
- High sensibility to Game design
- Result-Driven
- Leadership and good communication
- Autonomy and good organizational skills
Would be a plus :
- Flash and Action Script 3.0 knowledge
- Passed experiences in UI engine development
- Passed experiences on the ScaleForm middleware or any other UI middleware linked to Flash
- Passed experiences on a multiplayer game
