Job Description

We are currently seeking a talented Technical Artist to join our team. As a Technical Artist, you are responsible for determining, preparing and adapting the graphic tools used throughout the production. You supervise the integration of objects and environments into the game engine. You also help optimize working methods according to the type of production and you can perform easy debugging on project tools and processes. Finally, you participate, in collaboration with the team of programmers, in the optimization of graphics and environments on all platforms.

Your mission will lead you to work on the following projects and tasks (non-exhaustive):

  • Identify technical needs in graphics,
  • Design new tools if the existing ones are not adapted or suitable,
  • Develop or find the best tools and methods in order to improve and facilitate the work of the graphics team,
  • Test the tools before their deployment and ensure that they work properly, 
  • Prepare coherent documentation for pipelines, tools and procedures,
  • Regularly communicate technical constraints to the different teams,
  • Be a reference for the team in relation to technical art and find solutions to complex issues that arise,
  • Integrate, validate and optimize graphic data in the engine.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in technical art or any other relevant experience,
  • Ability to create technical documentation,
  • Preferably with game production experience,
  • Very good problem solving skills,
  • Must be an effective communicator, both verbally and written
  • Fluent in English
