You'll be More Productive」という記事の中で、「回復の重要性は、人間の生理に根ざしている」と指摘しています。

I almost never respond to posts or online calls to action and often don't because I get caught up in the Doing. Doing Doing. Doing Doing Doing.

In this time of enormous operational stress, with an animated feature film, a video game, and the release of the first film. Every moment seems mandatory for me to devote to doing.

I consider it normal, a behavior of the current worldview, right and even unacceptable to me not to get something done.
Have I been formed by society?
Does my dopamine come from being able to complete any task? Is it like completing a small daily mission or an epic feat?
It always made me laugh but enterprise in Italian “IMPRESA” = epic undertaking in Italian “IMPRESA” maybe it is from this synonym that I am obsessed with producing and finalizing.

But where do I fit rest in? do I take away time to spend with my daughter, my partner, my cat , or cook , sleep or play?

Perhaps it is wanting to be able to do “BUSINESS” in Italy that has led me to accept working where there are very few people doing the work of many.
To be able to work on a single project and not shut down one project in order to pay off the previous ones.

It is strange to write this stream of thought in a comment on an old post, but doesn't opening up like this always confront us with the moment of change?

I landed on the site to read about the wonderful THU storytelling in Kaga and knowing that I won't be able to go led me to peruse the pages of the site.

You are doing great work, a community of artists, a collection of minds and dreamers.

Never stop, but do it in your pace.

As of today, I will try, someday I will learn, who knows when. I will be there

First of all, thank you for the refreshing honesty. I’m not sure I am super equipped to comment on what you wrote, but then again… who is? (Many people are, namely Tim Ferris, but they can’t come to the phone right now, so you’re stuck with me). I can tell you that the author of this piece was caught up in the endless cycle of doing, achieving, and producing when she wrote this. 100% true story. She wrote this with the clear notion she needed to tell herself “Hey, it’s ok to slow down”. But she’s not great at that, so she wrote an article instead. Well, has the overachiever managed to walk the walk since then? I may need a lawyer to answer this (But I guess I will go with No).

The way i see is…productivity has become a modern epidemic, where the pursuit of “doing more” often outweighs the need for mind and body restoration (and both Tony Schwartz and Tim Ferris are on the same page here). In a world obsessed with measuring our worth by what we achieve, is pushing forward relentlessly making us fall behind?

You should definitely sleep because that element alone affects your memory, mood, weight, mental health, and relationships. Then rest, pleasure, and family tend to mix really well together if you create space for it. Especially when a cat and a laser pointer are involved. The important thing is to be really present.
Our bodies have a way of telling us when we need to slow down, don’t they? This moment of change may be exactly what you need to start shifting your approach. It may not happen all at once, but even small steps towards balance can lead to big changes. Want to run three miles? Start by tying your running shoes (yes, James Clear couldn’t make it to the comment either). Congratulations on your projects, take time to celebrate them :)
