My favourite part of this project..details!!

Final composition to portray a quiet evening with two girls in their twenties trying to navgiate their life in this world. 

Sketching out some versions of treehouses and what the people living in this time would use for transport and communication.

Boats or planks since most of the place is submerged, and a bunch of small oases as treehouses popping up from whatever is left.

How would an average person fare in a world rendered uninhabitable? We already see many disparities in living conditions around the world. What's normal for some is unimaginable for another. 

So what if life headed towards the end of the world was normal? I tried to sketch out a post-apocalyptic world where nothing is normal and yet people keep going. 

I started by writing down what I felt were the challenges faced by the modern world and what an oasis would mean to be in a time of difficulty.

I thought about while I might not be able to make big changes for these problems, there would still be reason for hope.
