The Special Projects development team is seeking Software Developers or Engineers with a passion for emerging & creative technology. 

As a Developer within the Special Projects team you will:

• Be a key part in the development of real time projects and the technologies that drive them;
• Collaborate on multiple areas of a project: prototyping to production tooling, game logic to new graphics techniques to low level optimization;
• Work with cutting edge unreleased software, developing techniques and tools to create high-quality real-time content;
• Work closely with the team of artists and film makers to solve novel problems;
• Write clear, maintainable, scalable, and highly functional code;
• Be able to tackle editor, real-time engine, build or tool problems as they arise;
• Integrate exciting new and emerging technologies into Unreal Engine;

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Several years professional experience as software developer inside game engines;
• Excellent software engineering skills, including the ability to design, implement, debug and optimize software;
• Experience optimizing both memory consumption and execution speed;
• Experience using Unreal Engine and other real-time software;
• Communicate clearly, work well in teams, and be able to work smartly, quickly and efficiently in time sensitive situations;
• Thrive in a fast-paced, innovative and creative environment;
• Have a passion for emerging creative technologies.
• Shader and technical art experience
