Community Developer
Description
Are you enamored with gaming communities and want to work at a company that puts its players first? Sharkmob is looking for a Community Developer to join our Bloodhunt team!
You will be part of the on-site marketing team and will be reporting to the Global Community Manager and have the following responsibilities:
- Identify community highlights of important competitors, and ensure that we stay ahead of the competition when it comes to our community efforts.
- Track game issues for escalation to project stakeholders.
- Capture and analyze community sentiment, drive the player's voice within the studio, and present actionable findings to key developers.
- Create written patch notes and other written material that is of interest to our players
Requirements
We are looking for someone who has a deep understanding of video games communities and fandoms and wishes to help us take care of our fast-growing and amazing Bloodhunt community. You have a few years of experience from similar roles, have worked with gaming-related YouTube channels, or managed Discord gaming communities.
You are a very organized person with a proactive attitude and can really listen to players and emphasize with the various issues and problems they may have with our games.
Part of your tasks will be to write articles and patch notes for our games, and we hope you enjoy working with these kinds of texts. We also hope that you are fluent in English and feel comfortable in front of the players, in both written and spoken form.
Additionally, you are a pro at social media and will help us post content on all our social channels/marketplaces and have a great understanding of both PC and Console gaming.
