Description

Evaluating work and then expressing your assessment of that work, is a skill that constantly needs to be developed.  Learning how to take critiques, both negative and positive, and adjusting your work to reflect those assessments, is a wholly separate skill, and can feel much more personal.

In my career, I have reviewed countless portfolios and countless shots and asset, and have watched others do the same.  There are a few guidlines that serve everyone, on how to communicate, or how to process, critiques, that I have found very useful.

We will sit as a group and look, and evaluate, each other portfolios.  We will talk about the kind of critiques you recieved in the past and how to encorporated those notes into your work.  We will ask questions about our work, and processes, and through this time, learn new ways of communicating and presenting.
