As the Matte Painting Senior Artist, you will be responsible for painting from photo-real to stylized digital environments or create 3D elements for matching into 3D plates or to stand on their own as DMP. This is a cross-discipline role and requires abilities in DMP, digital painting, concept art, modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering and compositing. You will work closely with the department Supervisors and Leads from a variety of departments, including Art, Layout, Modeling, Scene Comp, Lighting and Compositing.

• 4+ years of professional experience in animation industries or VFX.
• Perfect understanding of shape, light and color, composition and perspective.
• Professional mastering in Photoshop.
• High level in modeling, texturing/shading, lighting, rendering in Maya with Arnold.
• High level in compositing with Nuke, with a special understanding of camera projection set up.
• Medium knowledge in Mary, Z-brush.
• Strong proficiency in English language.

• Create Photo-realistic and stylized DMPs, understanding all the aspects of the DMP workflow.
• Knowledge of how to combine photograph-digital paintings-3D elements.
• Provide input during visual development/design phase.
• Keep up on current artistic methodologies and on technology trends and tools that best suit the production and the company, in the development of a stronger creative and technical environment.
• Work together with the team providing them with support, guidance and instruction in areas that contribute towards their artistic and professional growth.
• Communicate regularly with Production team and lead regarding schedules and deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Follow the Supervisor’s and Lead's guidance.
