After weeks of development, this 9-minute edit, built from storyboard, previs and color script placeholders, is the first time we can experience the story flowing from start to finish. You can watch it at the end of the video. These are still placeholder assets, but the soul of the story is already there. In this update, we also share the progress that made this possible, from delivering all assets required for mocap across environments, props and characters, to beginning our workflow transition with new tools from our Autodesk partnership. We’re continuing to shape key elements of the film, including the Demon Pope, and inviting the community to contribute to his final look through Discord. Next week, we’ll dive deeper into the mocap process, so feel free to leave your questions in the comments.
