Zero Medal is an original Brazilian sci-fi action universe created by animator and comic artist Roger Ferraz. The project began as a comic book series and is currently expanding into a retro arcade beat ’em up video game and an animated series pitch.

Inspired by 80s and 90s Saturday morning cartoons and classic arcade games, Zero Medal combines nostalgic visuals, hand-crafted animation and high-energy action with modern, character-driven storytelling and long-form narrative mystery, similar to contemporary streaming series.

The story is set in a realistic portrayal of São Paulo, where the everyday world collides with cosmic forces, alien invasions and hybrid creatures through powerful artifacts known as the Zero Medals. Despite its fantastical elements, the universe is grounded in real locations, real consequences and emotional realism.

Designed from the ground up as a transmedia IP, Zero Medal maintains a consistent visual identity and narrative core across comics, games and animation.
