With more than 35 years of experience, the German Ubisoft Studios are pioneers within the German games industry. Founded under the name of Blue Byte in 1988, the network now consists of three studios in Düsseldorf, Mainz and Berlin with the focus of developing high quality gaming experiences.

About us

Ubisoft Berlin opened in 2018 with a focus on co-developing big Ubisoft brands and is currently working on Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege with Ubisoft Montreal (Lead Studio) and on the Snowdrop engine. Before the studio worked on Far Cry 6 and Skull & Bones.

Ubisoft Düsseldorf is home to a diverse set of teams dedicated to delivering AAA excellence and innovation across a wide portfolio of games and technologies. The studio’s latest endeavors include Co-development titles such as Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. As renowned experts within the Ubisoft group, Ubisoft Düsseldorf also contributes to high profile projects such as Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege and a wide range of platforms, services and technologies including Ubisoft Connect and the Snowdrop engine, and Settlers Brand.

The teams at Ubisoft Mainz are engineering some of Ubisoft’s biggest blockbusters. Operating from a historic city in the heart of Germany, the studio develops games pushing the limits of the genre like the acclaimed Anno franchise and lends decades of expertise to AAA co-development projects like Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege and the upcoming Beyond Good And Evil 2.
